Nota particolare: patch logata con un angioletto pestato, “malconcio, mai rotto”
Items like Full Count, Samurai Jeans and Bobson (see MUG N° 3) prove that Japan is a country where the cult of denims is thriving. Thanks to Japanese creativity, to the revival of old looms and that of Donwan Harrel’s New York street look Prps is presently going to appear in few select italian stores. “Purpose” is the intention to tailor perfect denims, the extreme care for details, the will to create a different product. This pure indigo denim, with its typical purple selvage, is obtained from soft, natural-dyed Zimbawbe cotton through a number of stages. Hand-washed and sun-dried jeans, with five fly buttons in different colours, contrasting seams, the front pockets lined with camouflage fabric and the stylish folding in the back ones: details that give the item an unmistakably handmade look. The models interpret the classical designs of denim, of military and western-style wear, are designed for comfort and are ahead of any trend. Prps for ‘purpose’.
A noteworthy detail: the logos on the patch represents a beaten little angel: “bruised, never broken’.
