A timeless collection, for a modern HUMPHREY BOGART. Launched on the market late in 2004 by the Italo-French designer JP Gassa, U-NI-TY Vintage immediately achieved great success. The line draws its inspiration from Paris, New York and Amsterdam flea markets, where, browsing around the vintage clothing stalls, you can rediscover the spirit of European culture and catch a glimpse of classic styles. U-NI-TY Vintage is not based on clichés, but creates a new style by drawing on past models set by art and photography, film and music stars, as well as by military tailoring. Their clothing, markedly masculine in cut, and the fabrics they use follow the best tailoring tradition and achieve excellence. The choice of materials, the care for finish and details are only some of the features that enable U-NI-TY to enhance the comfort and fit of their clothing. As the brand was born, a new conception of lifestyle was brought into being that combines sobriety and humour in a new product devoted to eclectic, unconventional men. Classics are revisited and given a provocative touch to dress a modern dandy, whose elegance echoes the style of Humphrey Bogart but is redesigned on the man of today. The collection recalls the jazz clubs’ bohemian lifestyle of the ‘50s, but also the charm and inborn class of the gentlemen of the ‘30s. Fragments of our past are brought back to life in a modern interpretation of classical style in which luxury coincides with creativity.
