MIZUSAWA DOWN JACKET “MOUNTAINEER”
With its non-quilted thermal bonding and seam tape construction, the Mizusawa Down high spec jacket “Mountaineer” is supremely waterproof, and its unique Parahood system prevents water or snow from pooling around the neck. A mesh panel between dual front zips draws in air from outside to prevent uncomfortable heat and moisture buildup, and additional temperature control is provided by Descente’s own brilliant HEAT NAVI lining. With traceable down that has acquired “DOWNPASS” certification, it is now possible – through a system of Serial Numbers – to track, and strictly control, all down feathers used in the procurement process. A winner ever since it took out an award in the Mountain Performance category at ISPO 2018.

This “Storm” jacket in DERMIZAX® FLEXILE MATTE 4 WAY STRETCH fabric features not only non-quilted thermal bonding and seam tape construction for superb waterproofing, but also the StreamLine system that channels rain or other moisture droplets away from jacket pockets, and to the side of the hood to improve bad weather visibility. MIZUSAWA DOWN JACKET “STRATUM”
Dress for up to five different ways in this all new, high spec 2 in 1 combination of a short down jacket and a long shell coat. A unique connecting zipper design allows them to be worn separately or together to suit a variety of occasions and the weather. The DERMIZAX® SLUBTECH 2L surface material on the down jacket has a linen-like finish offering high water resistance and water permeability, while the shell uses SUN SHIELD COTTON 3L, with a thermal insulation effect that reflects infrared rays. The utilitarian modular design, constructed with heat bonded non-quilt and seam tape processing, makes for an extremely attractive outfit that’s warm and dry however the garments are selected and connected.
