DOVER STREET MARKET – PARIS
After the ‘teasers’ with Dover Street Parfums Market and Dover Street Little Market, the Ville Lumière now hosts the world’s most iconic concept store, designed by Rei Kawakubo and located in a historic 17th-century building in the heart of the Marais. Opened on 24 May, Dover Street Market Paris immediately set out to be a sign of change in the global retail landscape, ensuring a revolutionary vision of shopping.

Unlike the other DSM stores, in fact, the Parisian location does not offer branded spaces dedicated to a single designer, but rather aims at an immersive shopping experience, where a selection of luxury brands are placed together with emerging designers, whose skilful mix creates a unique atmosphere in the name of creativity.

Rei Kawakubo together with Adrian Joffe have therefore opted for an unconventional merchandising concept, where the furnishings function as works of art that take center stage in the space, and the combinations of product and outfit are always unexpected and inspiring. More than a gallery of fashion and art, this multisensory experience invites visitors to walk, dream, and explore in an accessible, experimental environment.
