Love Capsules for Lazzari
Lo Spazio Lazzari, dall’8 Ottobre al 1 Dicembre 2008, ha ospitato l’installazione “Capsule d’Amore”: progetto espositivo della linea Ferrino 1870, ideato e voluto da Anna Ferrino e curato dal designer Moreno Ferrari. La perfetta geometria della forma circolare che ricorre in tutti gli elementi del marchio è la chiave di volta di questa nuova avventura dell’azienda, da anni punto di riferimento per trekker, esploratori, alpinisti e amanti della vita all’aria aperta. L’obiettivo è sentirsi perfettamente immersi nella natura, nello spazio circostante e riuscire a rispondere al nostro crescente bisogno di radici, nonostante gli impegni quotidiani e la vita frenetica ci obblighino ad essere sempre in movimento. Un nuovo concetto di accoglienza mobile viene inaugurato attraverso questi moderni ripari metropolitani: il cerchio, segno ricorrente e rappresentativo dell’intero progetto, ne è sintesi perfetta nonché portatore di valenze ancestrali (pancia, terra, ospitalità, protezione, ecc.). Le “capsule d’amore” hanno infatti disegnato una linea curva continua, involuta nel mezzo a richiamare l’idea della circolarità (v. figura), nella suggestiva cornice del cortile esterno dello Spazio Lazzari. La collaborazione tra l’imprenditrice torinese ed il designer si completa inoltre con la presentazione di nuove soluzioni per l’abbigliamento, gli “equipaggiamenti mobili”: accessori come zaini, borse organizer, pratici sacchi a pelo e sofisticati capispalla concepiti secondo i dettami della praticità e del comfortable design.
From October 8th to December 1st Lazzari Space staged the installation “Love Capsules”, an exhibition project of the Ferrino 1870 line, desired and created by Anna Ferrino, edited by the designer Moreno Ferrari. The perfect geometry of the circular shape recurring in all of the brand’s elements is the key stone to the new adventure of the Firm, which for years has been a benchmark for trekkers, explorers, climbers and lovers of life in the open air.The project’s objective is to make people feel one with nature in the surrounding environment, and to satisfy their growing need to be rooted in it, although the frantic rhythm of daily engagements obliges them to be on the move at all times. These modern metropolitan shelters inaugurate a new concept of mobile welcome: the circle is the recurring sign that perfectly symbolises the whole project, as it stands for ancestral archetypes like the womb, the earth, hospitality, protection etc. The “Love Capsules” were arranged so as to form a continuous curved line which bent in the middle of the suggestive outer yard in Lazzari Space to create the idea of circularity ( see the picture). The collaboration between the Turin stylist and the designer has also resulted in the presentation of their “mobile equipments”, new solutions for clothing, including accessories like knapsacks, organiser bags, convenient sleeping bags and sophisticated coats conceived following the dictates of convenience and comfortable design.
