Montedomini 3rd Edition

Mug Magazine è orgoglioso di presentare la terza edizione di MONTEDOMINI, un evento dedicato alle più evolute realtà della moda contemporanea che andrà in scena dal 12 al 13 Gennaio 2011 in via dei Malcontenti 10, a Firenze, in occasione del 79° Pitti Immagine Uomo. I protagonisti di questa edizione estiva saranno: Fake London, Marithé+François Girbaud, Premiata, De Marchi e Cinelli. Marithé+François Girbaud presenterà l’innovativa tecnologia WATTWASH, un trattamento laser capace di ottenere gli stessi risultati dello stonewashing con un risparmio d’acqua del 97,5%. Premiata, esclusivo marchio calzaturiero artigianale di Montegranaro, presenterà un display della nuova collezione invernale. L’ irriverente brand britannico Fake London, tornato sulle scene nel 2010 grazie alla partnership con Italservice Spa, darà invece un’anticipazione delle Fall-Winter 2011. De Marchi, storica azienda per la produzione di abbigliamento tecnico per ciclismo e Cinelli, eccellenza italiana per la produzione di telai da corsa apriranno invece una finestra sul mitico mondo delle “due ruote”. Nel Giardino d’Inverno di Montedomini, la Facoltà di Design e Arti dell’Università IUAV di Venezia presenterà “SPELLBOUND”, un’installazione con i progetti degli studenti e dei neolaureati.

Mug Magazine is proud to present the third edition of MONTEDOMINI, the privilege of surveying outstanding fashion brands; the event will be held, from January 12th to 13th 2011, in Florence at the ‘Guardaroba Storico’ of Montedomini in Via dei Malcontenti 10, on the occasion of Pitti Immagine Uomo n° 79. Among the protagonists of the event will be Marithé+François Girbaud, Premiata, Fake London, De Marchi and Cinelli. Marithé and François Girbaud will present the innovative “WATTWASH” technique, a laser treatment that can obtain the same results as stonewashing, using 97.5 % less water. Premiata, the exclusive Montegranaro-based artisanal footwear brand and the famous Fake London with their radical chic items, will present a display of their latest collections. De Marchi, a historical brand of cycling clothing, together with Cinelli, a leading Italian firm in the production of racing bike frames, will highlight the mythic world of bicycles. The Winter Garden will once more house the installation ‘SPELLBOUND’ with the works by the students from the Course for the Degree in Fashion Design of the Faculty of Arts & Design of the IUAV, Venice University.
