Pantofola d’Oro 1886 is preparing to celebrate its 140th anniversary in 2026 — a milestone of Italian excellence recognized worldwide. For the occasion, a special capsule collection was created by South African designer Thebe Magugu, which pays tribute to the brand’s history by transforming it into a contemporary message. Shoes and uniforms not only celebrate the past, but also tell the story of current values: inclusion, social redemption, community. The inspiration comes from street football, where even an improvised uniform becomes a symbol of belonging, respect and hope. Magugu interprets these universal values with authenticity and strength, translating them into a human and immediate language that combines sport, identity and dignity.
