Nell’orizzonte urbano delle atmosfere Nord-Europee si colloca la collezione Estiva 2009 di Emporio Armani. L’immagine è quella di un uomo contemporaneo, in grado di guardare al futuro e interpretare il dna autentico del marchio attraverso materiali innovativi e geometrie ricercate. La tridimensionalità degli abiti sembra dissolversi sotto il nostro sguardo, per rivivere nella loro struttura interna: la figura umana non è più nascosta ma rivelata e sottolineata.
Le giacche decostruite si arricchiscono di finiture sartoriali sulle spalle, i morbidi colli, volutamente destrutturati, si piegano agilmente in avanti. Le fodere, tagliate al vivo, creano leggere sovrapposizioni di tessuto, vestendosi di lino trattato con inedite lavorazioni, seta e poliestere. La pelle dei bomber e dei giubbotti, stampata al laser, è morbidissima al tatto mentre i tessuti da camiceria alleggeriscono le silhouette dei pantaloni. Il peso degli abiti svanisce, l’architettura del corpo è mostrata: testa, collo, spalle, torace e polpacci risaltano. Gli abiti da sera si accompagnano a candide camicie dai polsini inamidati e dai colletti bordati di bianco, in contrasto.Le tinte della collezione sono fredde e lucide, in accordo con l’ispirazione proveniente dal design nordico. La palette di colori che spazia dal grigio più rarefatto al blu navy, tipico delle uniformi militari, viene ripresa anche nella linea EA7, ispirata al kite surf. I capi più sportivi, quali parka o mini-trench abbinati a bermuda, rifuggono un’eccessiva tecnicità mostrando soluzioni che privilegiano, ancora una volta, delle linee definite.
Un costante alleggerimento formale è messo in atto attraverso tagli netti, precisi che sono il risultato della grande ricerca svolta da Emporio Armani sulla struttura dei capi e sui materiali.
Emporio Armani’s Summer 2009 collection is set in the atmosphere of North European urban milieus. It conveys the image of a present-day man, who can look ahead to the future and interpret the brand’s real essence through innovative materials and sophisticated geometrical designs. As we look at the items of clothing they seem to lose their three-dimensionality, and take on a new life in their inner structure: the human body is no longer hidden but revealed and enhanced. Deconstructed jackets are enriched with sartorial details on the shoulders, their deliberately destructured soft collars slenderly bending forward. The bleeding-edge lining, with hardly perceptible fabric overlaps, are in originally treated linen, silk and polyester. The laser printed leather of the bombers and jackets is very soft, while the shirt fabrics lighten the silhouette of the trousers. The weight of the garments vanishes, the body’s structure shows increasingly, and the head, neck, shoulders, chest and calves stand out. Dinner suits are matched to white shirts with starched cuffs and contrasting white-edged collars. The colours of the collection are cold and glossy in accordance with their inspiration from Nordic design. The palette ranges from the most rarefied of greys to navy blue, typical of military uniforms, and is the same as that of line EA7 that draws its inspiration from kite surf. Typically sports items, such as parkas or mini-trench coats and Bermudas, shun redundant technical details and present solutions based on simple lines. Neat, precise cuts bring about an overall lightening of forms, the result of the research on materials and the structure of items carried out in depth by Emporio Armani.
