THE CONTEMPORARY HERITAGE OF WORKWEAR

Il marchio Blue Bell affonda saldamente le sue radici nel denim da lavoro, in equilibrio perfetto tra heritage e stile contemporaneo. Due sono i capi di rottura: la camicia Western nera, con numerose riparazioni a mano e la giacca denim, icona di Wrangler, candeggiata e rattoppata. Molte sono le repliche di modelli originali come la salopette, la tuta e il grembiule che Jeff Decker utlilizzava per lavorare. È lui l’icona di questa stagione. L’artista scultore e collezionista di moto (e giubbotti da biker) con base in Utah, nonostante il look da motociclista anni ’50, indossa molti abbigliamenti da lavoro. In suo onore la collezione include anche una cintura la cui fibbia si rifà direttamente alle sue opere. Lo sportswear aggiunge invece una terza dimensione alla collezione Spring-Summer 2012 di Wrangler Blue Bell, presente nella storia di Blue Bell fin dal 1950. La giacca sport vintage della Sedgefield by Blue Bell è infatti uno dei pezzi più rappresentativi della stagione.

The Blue Bell brand is deeply rooted in denim workwear in perfect balance between heritage and contemporary style. Two are the breaking models: the Western black shirt, with several handmade repairs and the denim jacket, icon of Wrangler, bleached and patched. There are many replicas of the original models such as overalls and aprons that Jeff Decker was wearing. He is the icon of this season. The artist, sculptor and collector of motorcycles (and biker jackets) based in Utah, always looking like a 50’s biker, wears a lot of workwear pieces. In his honor, the collection also includes a belt buckle directly inspired from his works. Sportswear instead adds a third dimension to the Spring-Summer 2012 of Wrangler Blue Bell, present in the history of brand since 1950. The vintage sport jacket from the Sedgefield collection by Blue Bell is one of the most representative item of the season.
