MUG’S FRIENDS: GABRIELE RIVA

Gabriele Riva is a creative and multifaceted graphic designer who has built a consolidated career in the field of visual and advertising communication, with over 20 years of experience, covering key roles such as Art and Creative Director, Designer. His academic background includes experiences at the ISIA in Urbino, renowned for its excellence in art and design education, and at the Belfast School of Art, where he refined his graphic skills. A fundamental stage of his career was the 18 years he spent at Fabrica, the Benetton Group’s communication research centre, internationally recognised as an innovative hub, where creatives from all over the world collaborate on multidisciplinary projects. During his stay, Gabriele Riva contributed as a team coordinator, graphic designer and illustrator. Subsequently, he worked for the Imago Mundi Foundation, a cultural reality aimed at promoting global contemporary art, continuing to explore new visual languages and storytelling methods through editorial graphics, exhibition setup, and collaboration with artists from different disciplines.
