Giorgia Ricci You Won't Find a Girl in this Damn World

MUG’S FRIENDS: GIORGIA RICCI

Giorgia Ricci - Illustration

Artist and illustrator, Giorgia Ricci lives and works in Treviso. After studying graphic design at ISIA in Urbino, Giorgia completed her training at Fabrica, the creative communication research centre of the Benetton group.

Her creative and visual work ranges from purely artistic works to collaborations with fashion and design studios and companies.

Essentially based on illustration, her art mixes different techniques, from hand drawing to collage, extending to painting and orchestrating everything through a fluid and apparently chaotic vision and structure.

This is the leitmotif of her style and technique, where the most disparate figures and representations intertwine with natural elements, forming a single story, the result of personal adventures and imaginary journeys.

Giorgia Ricci’s works have been exhibited at the Salone del Mobile in Milan and Paris, at the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm, at Mudac, at the Museum of Modern Art and Design in Lausanne, just to name a few locations.
